, The enforcement of the advocate code of ethics plays a highly crucial role in maintaining the honor of the legal profession and supporting the realization of a judicial system that is just, professional, and full of integrity. Law Number 18 of 2003 on Advocates serves as the legal foundation governing the status, rights, obligations, and ethical responsibilities of advocates in practicing their profession. This study aims to examine the regulation and implementation of the advocate code of ethics enforcement within the Indonesian judicial system based on the provisions of Law Number 18 of 2003 on Advocates. The research method utilized is normative legal research, employing both statutory and conceptual approaches. The research findings indicate that, normatively, the mechanism for enforcing the advocate code of ethics has been regulated quite clearly through statutory regulations and the provisions of advocate organizations. However, in practice, various obstacles are still encountered, including weak supervisory functions, differing interpretations regarding the authority of advocate organizations, and the application of ethical sanctions that have not yet optimally provided a deterrent effect. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen the institutional capacity of advocate organizations, improve the effectiveness of supervision, and ensure consistency in the application of ethical sanctions in order to manifest a professional, accountable advocate who upholds the law and contributes to a just judicial system.
