Analisis Pemakaian Bahasa Indonesia Pada Penelitian Skripsi Mahasiswa Di Lingkungan STAI Samora Pematangsiantar

Abstract

The importance of the existence of a variety of standard Indonesian in the context of writing thesis research. However, on the other hand, the use of Indonesian in the thesis research of STAI Samora Pematangsiantar students still seems to be colored by many irregularities or errors, both related to grammatical errors, lexical errors and spelling errors. The emergence of various errors in the thesis research of STAI Samora Pematangsiantar students certainly needs to be handled immediately because the use of Indonesian in student thesis research can be used as a role model by other writers in the STAI Samora Pematangsiantar environment, both among lecturers and among students themselves later. For this purpose, a clear and complete description and analysis of various mistakes in the use of the Indonesian language in the thesis research of students in the STAI Samora Pematangsinatar environment is needed. Based on the background of the above thinking, the purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the deviation of the use of Indonesian in student thesis research in the STAI Samora Pematangsiantar environment from the paradigm of sentence system, formatting, meaning, and writing system (Enhanced Spelling). This research method uses a qualitative descriptive design because it tries to describe the deviation of the use of Indonesian as it is in the research report of STAI Samora Pematangsiantar students. The subject of this research is the research report of STAI Samora Pematangsiantar students in 2022/2023. Overall, the number of thesis research in the academic year. 2022/2023 as many as 40 pieces. The number of thesis research can be broadly distinguished into two types, namely thesis research for the Islamic Religious Education Study Program as many as 32 pieces and the Ahwal Syakhshiyyah Study Program as many as 8 pieces. Data in the form of irregularities in the use of Indonesian in student research reports were collected by the documentation method. The results of the study show that in the thesis research of STAI Samora Pematangsiantar students in 2022/2023, there are still various deviations in the use of language, both related to sentence structure, formation, meaning / diction, and writing. In relation to the grammar, without parallelism, sentences with phrases with the pattern of Describe-Explained, and pleonistic sentences. In relation to the formative system, it was found that there was a deviation in the form of the prefix meN- and the prefix peN-an. In relation to the system of meaning, it was found that there was illogical reasoning and inappropriate choice of word use. In relation to the writing system, in the outline there are several kinds of irregularities, namely deviations in letter writing, word writing and the use of punctuation.
