Analisis Nilai Pendidikan Islam Dalam Buku Kiai Ujang Di Negeri Kanguru Karya Nadirsyah Hosen

The values of Islamic education in humans are starting to erode along with the influx of globalization and this means that Islamic religious teachings are no longer used as a guide for life by them. Seeing this, the values of Islamic education really need to be applied again in the world of education so that the future generation of the nation has a strong foundation or grip to face the challenges of the development of globalization which is increasingly having more and more negative impacts if it is not addressed carefully. The application of Islamic educational values in the world of education can be done with many means and tools. For example, by holding Islamic activities and delivering material during the learning process using various media in class. One of the media most widely used during the learning process is books. The focus of this research is to identify the values of Islamic education contained in the book Kiai Ujang in Kangaroo Country by Nadirsyah Hosen and the relevance of the contents of the book to the material on Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at the junior high school level. To achieve this goal, researchers used a descriptive qualitative research approach with the type of library research. The data analysis technique used in this research is content analysis. The results of the research show that the values of Islamic education contained in Kiai Ujang's book in Kangaroo Country include: (1) The value of i'tiqodiyah or aqidah, (2) The value of khuluqiyah or morals, (3) The value of amaliyah which consists of the value of worship and muamalah. Apart from that, there was also a lot of relevance between Kiai Ujang's book in Kangaroo Country and material on Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at junior high school level, from class VII to class IX.
