Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Pemberian Latihan Dan Motivasi Berprestasi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa (Studi Eksperimen Dalam Mata Pelajaran IPA Di MTsN Kota Pematangsiantar)

The learning strategy of giving practice is a strategy in which students are given exercises related to the concept or material being studied. Meanwhile, achievement motivation is an encouragement that comes from within and is owned by an individual in carrying out an activity to achieve achievement. This research was conducted at MTsN Pematangsiantar City, through a comparison of learning outcomes with the learning strategy of giving practice at the beginning of the presentation with the strategy of giving training at the end of the presentation then connected with student achievement motivation. Achievement motivation is measured using an achievement motivation test which was developed from existing indicators and tested on students to measure its validity and reliability. While the learning outcomes of Physics were measured by objective tests which also tested the construct validity, item validity and reliability, this study obtained the results: 1) the learning outcomes of students who were taught using the learning strategy of giving exercises given at the beginning of the presentation were higher than the learning outcomes of students who were taught using the learning strategy of giving exercises given at the end of the presentation, 2) the learning outcomes of students who had high achievement motivation were better than the learning outcomes of students who had low achievement motivation and 3) there was no interaction between learning strategies and student achievement motivation.
